Hi, this is just little old me and my wife and our mad idea of riding route 66, we are not seasoned bikers or anything like, we were sitting watching the TV one evening a program called ‘Long Way Round’ with Euan McGregar and Charlie Boreman in which they travel around the world on two motorbikes, so inspired by this were we that we though we might like to attempt to to do something similar only perhaps not on such a grand scale and we came up with the idea of riding Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles on two Harley Davidon’s, I decided to keep a blog from the beginning of the whole thing which is called ‘route 66 the dream’ and I kept a separate blog of just the route 66 trip itself called ‘route 66 the trip’
For both of us this was a big deal from not being able to ride a motorbike to finally completing the trip of a life time, we hope you enjoy our tales and please leave a comment it would be much appreciated.
